Ethnicity Online uses current web standards and aims to comply with the best accessibility guidelines.

For users who have difficulty in using pointing devices such as a mouse, we have also provided a series of keyboard shortcuts. These are indicated by letters underlined in the top and left navigation bars (trying where possible to use letters not already in use by browsers for shortcut keys).

for example: alt C will load the ethnic groups main page.

Windows-based systems: press the "Alt" key (except with Opera) and the relevant access key.

• Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 4) press "Alt" and the relevant underlined letter at the same time
• Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 5 or 6) press "Alt" and the relevant underlined letter, then press the "Enter" key
• Netscape (version 6 or later), or Mozilla, press "Alt" and the relevant underlined letter at the same time
• Opera (version 7) press shift-Escape then the relevant underlined letter
  

Macintosh-based systems: press the "Ctrl" key and the relevant access key.
