Islam is an ancient Arabic word, which is best translated as 'achieving peace through willing submission to Allah'. Anyone who follows Islam accepts that their life will be spent in submission to the will of Allah, and obedience to the teachings of Muhammad, his prophet. Such a person is called a Muslim.

In 2006, Strait marked his 30th year with the release of an album “It Just Comes Natural.” The first single, "Give It Away" reached #1. In 2007, "Wrapped" reached No. 1 on the Mediabase 24/7 country music charts. Strait has sold more than 62 million recordings. Strait has won 16 CMA Awards, including consecutive entertainer of the year honors in 1989 and 1990. Strait was elected into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2006.
