The following organisations are good sources of information on some of the issues raised on this website about Judaism and healthcare.

Board of Deputies of British Jews

This is the major national representative organisation for British Jews, and works with all branches of Judaism. The Board deal with secular matters affecting British Jews, as well as running education programmes, exhibitions and inter-faith conferences and conducting research.

Office of the Chief Rabbi

This is the Office of the Chief Rabbi – the Rabbi who leads the Jewish congregation in the UK. The office has an interest in promoting multi-faith and cross-cultural understanding and provides an advice service.

United Synagogue

This United States organisation acts to improve relations between Jews and other people. Their site includes information about Jewish patient care and kosher foods, and they offer a comprehensive advice service to the public sector. They also have a branch in the UK at the address below.
