Refugee Council Online

The Refugee Council is the largest organisation in the UK working with asylum seekers and refugees. Its website includes a section that details asylum seekers' and refugees' entitlements and access to healthcare services (see 'Health services for asylum seekers and refugees').

Health for Asylum Seekers and Refugees Portal (HARPweb)

HARPweb essentially consists of three websites, each developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals working with asylum seekers and refugees in the UK. The sites offer specialist health advice and information for asylum seekers and refugees, and include links to many multicultural and multilingual resources.

HARPweb includes the Mental Health and Well-being Web Resource website, which is designed to help health professionals in assisting asylum seekers and refugees who have mental health issues.

The 'Communicate - Multilingual and Multicultural Health Resources' website includes a Multilingual Appointment Card that is used by thousands of professionals who are in contact with asylum seekers and refugees.

The Department of Health's asylum seeker and refugees section

This section of the Department of Health website provides information relating to healthcare policy for asylum seekers and refugees.

Home Office

The 'Information about postgraduate doctors and dentists' section of the Home Office website provides information and advice about training and registering in the UK for postgraduate doctors and dentists.

The 'Information about ministers of religion' section of the Home Office website provides information and advice for ministers of religion.

Electronic Immigration Network (EIN)

EIN is a voluntary-sector organisation that specialises in the provision of information on immigration and refugee law via the Internet, particularly in the UK and Europe.

The Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture

Founded in 1985, the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture provides care and rehabilitation to survivors of torture and other forms of organised violence.
