The musical production of ‘We Will Rock You’ has captivated 6 million theatre-goers around the world from London to Las Vegas, Toronto to Tokyo and beyond. Ben Elton's story of “We Will Rock You” takes us to a time in the future when rock music, as made by perspiring human beings hammering away at wires attached to wood, has been declared illegal. In the depths of the cities deep below the ground the Bohemians dwell, dreaming of a time when music was about the instruments, bands writing songs and above all enjoying rock - this time is known as 'The Rhapsody'. The Bohemians are intent on saving music and preventing the meaningless noise created by the Company Computers. Just before Hollywood records re-mastered and re-released Queen's entire back catalogue in the early 90's, they also issued a 5-track CD single, We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions, which featured We Will Rock You remixes by Rick Rubin. These have gained a lot of popularity among the Queen fans. All eight mixes are available on a US Promo 12". Five We Will Rock You remixes were available on standard release CD or Cassette in the US
